When purchasing your cuts for grilling at Sugar Valley Meats, if you don’t already have your own favorite way of seasoning, we are more than willing to add our own blend of seasonings for you!
When grilling, there are many variables that come into play depending on the type of grill, fuel, weather conditions, etc. Please keep in mind that these are suggestions from SVM and times may need adjusted.
Recommended grilling times by steak thickness. Times listed are total cooking times. Divide in half for each side.
Rare - 140ºF
Medium - 160ºF
Well - 170ºF
After seasoning grill 1/4lb. patties 3-4 minutes per side for a medium burger. Adjust grill times for you personal preference.
¾” thick chops grill 4 to 5 minutes per side
1 ½” thick chops grill 6 to 8 minutes per side
Cook pork to an internal temperature of 170°F.
All chicken cuts should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165ºF.
